MUSICIANSHIP
My primary instrument at Ohio University was clarinet. I took private lessons with Rebecca Rischin and performed in major ensembles during every semester. I also performed with various clarinet ensembles including trios, quartets and choirs.
In my time at Ohio University, I also had the pleasure of being involved in a variety of activities. These activities opened opportunities for travel, performance, and experience. I was heavily involved with the Ohio University Marching 110 where I served as a Music Section Leader for two years. I also had the privilege of being in the Ohio University Wind Symphony for two years, which is the elite instrumental performing group on campus. Other performance groups I was a part of include the Varsity Band, Choral Union, Symphonic Band, and the "Under the Elms" summer band. I was also selected as a student conductor for the Students Conductors Honors Recital, where I had the opportunity to rehearse and conduct a piece with the Symphonic Band.
